          Assembly Machine Operator Truss Rod Forming Operation 

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting our new truss rod forming machine to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes. You will play a key role in helping us meet production goals and uphold quality standards. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Set up and operate machinery according to standard operating procedures. 

  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to improve efficiency and product quality. 

  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance and report any defects or inconsistencies. 

  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance. 

  • Maintain accurate production records and complete necessary documentation. 

  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe work environment. 

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets. 

  • Report equipment malfunctions or production issues to the appropriate personnel. 

  • Practice all 6S initiatives to keep the area and machine clean and presentable. 

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED); technical training or certification is a plus. 

  • Proven experience as a machine operator or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment. 

  • Familiarity with different types of manufacturing machinery and Quality Measurement tools.  

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. 

  • Maintenance background a plus. 

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints and manuals. 

  • Good physical stamina and manual dexterity. 

  • Basic math and computer skills. 

  • Willingness to work in shifts, including overtime and weekends if required. 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience with [specific machinery or equipment used in your facility]. 

  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma is a plus. 

  • Forklift certification (if applicable). 

Work Environment: 

  • This role involves standing for extended periods and working in a noisy, fast-paced environment. 

  • May require lifting up to [50 lbs] and exposure to varying temperatures.
