Your Role: We are currently looking for an Electrical Controls Maintenance Technician to join us at our Lindsay NE location. 


Job Requirements:

  • Work closely with Operations for problem solving and to assure that quality, safety and productivity is maintained.
  • Point of contact for trouble shooting and programming PLC and Robotic equipment - Allen Bradley SLC 500, Control Logix, Micro Logix, RS Logix 500 & 5000 and Panel View
  • Review, repair, and redesign legacy code
  • Develop electrical bill of materials
  • Improve process through projects and innovative automation improvements.
  • Setup, teach and trouble shoot Cognex or Keyence machine vision platforms
  • Assist in the operation of the area to meet production and scheduling requirements.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and process problems and provide continuous improvement solutions through approved project work.
  • Assist in managing and tracking machine maintenance and PM’s, parts procurement and capital projects as required to meet department goals.
  • Supports the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results
  • Work with safety team, with a goal to improve ergonomics of workstations
  • Develop electrical design, schematics, and drawings in AutoCAD
  • Familiar with Industry Standards UL and CE
  • Interprets and applies company and plant policies, procedures and practices.


Additional Job Requirements May Include:

  • Able to acquire a forklift license/certification
  • Operate large equipment including but not limited to snow removal equipment, lawn mowers, payloaders, man-lifts and scissor-lifts.     





  • High school diploma/GED and 10+ years of work experience in manufacturing and building maintenance with an emphasis in electrical trouble shooting and PLC programing. Or, an Associates/Technical degree with 3-5 years solid experience in the installation and programming of the Allen Bradley and Siemens families of PLC’s, and Fanuc robots
  • Detail oriented and organizational
  • Thorough working knowledge of facility equipment units, their usage, and safety procedures
  • Must be a self-starter, team player, work well with others, and have a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work after hours and some weekend and holidays if needed.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
