Lindsay is searching for an Account Manager to join our Olathe, KS Sales team.  The Account Manager role is responsible for managing relationships of current customers as well as building a pipeline of qualified leads by contacting prospective customers for our Oil, Gas and Water Verticals.  If you thrive in a team environment and are passionate about seeing your team succeed this is the role you have been looking for.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with current customer base via; phone, email, quotes and resolving issues
  • Drive new opportunities with current customer base by discussing upgrades and new product features
  • Create quotes and assist outside Sales Team with service, support while traveling
  • Work with Sales Team to develop campaign strategies for marketing messages or product updates
  • Attend trade shows with Sales Team as part of the initial engagement with prospective customers and follow up on qualified leads
  • Produce a specified number and type of qualified leads and subsequent revenue potential
  • Track all contacts and activity in our CRM database
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent preferred
  • 1 to 2 years successful experience in inside or outside sales in Oil, Gas, Water or corrosion industry preferred
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Ability to work in a team environment and as a self-starter
  • Detail-oriented individual with strong organization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM
