Position Description

As an Electrical Intern in our Technology and Innovation group, you’ll work on cutting-edge hardware and embedded systems projects. This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply your technical skills to a real-world project while gaining exposure to a variety of engineering disciplines through structured shadowing.  

Position Details

This internship offers an 8-5pm work onsite at our corporate headquarters in Omaha, NE - Monday through Thursday with a remote work option on Fridays.  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead a capstone project focused on developing an engineering prototype. 

• Assist in hardware design, sensor integration, and embedded software development. 

• Participate in weekly shadowing sessions with different engineering and technology teams. 

• Document technical findings and contribute to internal knowledge sharing. 

• Present project outcomes and insights at the end of the internship. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. 

• Familiarity with BLE protocols, microcontrollers, and sensor systems. 

• Experience with embedded C/C++, Python, or similar languages. 

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
