Position Description

Lindsay Corporation is hiring a Manager of Corporate Communications that will report to our Vice President of Marketing and Communications. This individual will lead our centralized communications strategy to ensure consistency and alignment of communications across all key stakeholder groups for the company. 

 

Position Details

This is a full-time position based in our global HQ in Omaha, NE and includes a highly competitive compensation and benefits package. The incumbent for this role will work a flexible, hybrid schedule, which includes core office days from Tuesday-Thursday.  Travel requirement will be up to ~20% to different office locations and events in support of our communication programs.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop coordinated, company-wide communications directed to employees, investors, media, community partners and other stakeholders.
  • Build relationships and partner with senior leadership and functional heads to identify communications needs, make recommendations and align on communication approach
  • Prepare materials for our quarterly board meetings and provide support to our board of directors for each meeting.
  • Plan and execute all employee meetings, including coordination and management of video production partners for global broadcast.
  • Partner with our marketing team on our social media strategy and content development.
  • Write and edit press releases, articles, media statements and other materials to support communications.
  • Develop and manage corporate community relations and partnerships.
  • Facilitate senior leadership and spokesperson media training and maintain media relationships.
  • Ensure world-class crisis response communications preparedness.
     

Qualifications

  • Minimum of seven years’ experience in corporate communications, including day-to-day relationships with senior leaders and managing a budget
  • Minimum of two years’ experience with a publicly traded company, manufacturing experience a plus
  • Four-year college degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a similar discipline
  • Excellent verbal and writing capabilities, storytelling expertise in multiple mediums.
  • Ability to move seamlessly between big strategic thinking and tactical execution and juggle multiple, sometimes competing priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS office- Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Systems savvy preferred.
  • Dependable, collaborative, and ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality.
  • Not afraid to challenge the status quo and discover ways to do things more effectively, while staying attentive the business priorities.
  • Adept at influencing at all levels in the organization to achieve positive outcomes.
