Position Description
Lindsay Corporation is hiring a new Systems Analyst – Supply Chain/Plant Operations. This IT role will partner with Procurement, Quality and Plant Operations to select, support, and enhance tools that help us manage the operations of our company. This role will also participate in other IT projects spanning infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and business applications.
Position Details
This is a full-time job located at the company's headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. Lindsay enjoys a flexible, hybrid work environment where core business days are Tuesday-Thursday.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Partner with internal stakeholders to help drive adoption and maximize the value of Lindsay’s ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) ecosystem.
- Develop proposals that outline feasibility and costs; suggests, designs, tests, implements, and evaluates IT solutions with Supply Chain stakeholders.
- Understand operational data from our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), supply planning and other tools to help the business make data-driven decisions.
- Be responsible for the administration of Operational systems, including performing mass updates, configuring systems to align with business requirements, and performing regular maintenance.
- Manage system releases, including coordinating regression and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) testing with internal SMEs.
- Manage new feature implementation projects such as forecasting and analytic tools.
- Be responsible for maintaining data standards, policies, and procedures for global use.
- Actively research new enhancements and releases in Operational technology and continually strive to deliver a lean technology environment that is empowering for a global community.
- Create, maintain and support a variety of standard and custom reports, queries, and metrics to provide business insight into Lindsay’s supply chain processes and workflows.
- Assist with IT project management for various enterprise business applications and network infrastructure.
- Experience with SCRUM project management methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Comprehensive and demonstrated knowledge of supply chain systems and integrations, reporting and operational processes.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills with ability to drive results.
- Ability to communicate with both business users and technical teams.
- Experience in project planning and tools such as JIRA, Planner or Smartsheet.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Power platform skills preferred.
- Model a collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence others into action and think creatively about solutions.
- Advanced understanding of the full end-to-end implementation lifecycle, including integrations requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and move to production.
- Working knowledge of data analysis and forecasting tools.
