Regional Sales Manager
Due to the upcoming retirement of a valued member of our infrastructure team, Lindsay Corporation is hiring a Northeast Regional Sales Manager for their Road Safety Products business. Lindsay’s vision is to be the innovation and market leader in our core segments of Irrigation and Infrastructure, and achieving this through our core values of safety, quality, integrity, collaboration, and creativity. In this role, you will join a highly collaborative, customer centric team that is responsible for increasing revenue volume and margins with both channel partners, as well as end users of our products. This position will work remotely within the Northeast region.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage revenue and margins of Lindsay’s Road Safety Products to achieve target goals.
- Engage with channel partners and end users to increase market share and confidence in our products and services.
- Develop and execute the region’s go-to-market strategy.
- Contribute to new product development and initiatives by bringing in customer-driven ideas.
- Uphold Lindsay’s values, focusing on customer attraction and retention through honesty, integrity, and strategic communication.
- Attend industry conferences and association meetings.
- Regularly update the company’s CRM and other software applications, forecast product and quantity needs for the next 12 months, and report on territorial activities.
- Collaborate with State Department of Transportations (DOT) and other Centers of Influence for product approvals.
- Share insights and best practices with peers and collaborate with support functions for a seamless customer experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field of business
- Minimum of 5 years of business development and sales experience
- Ability to travel up to 70%
- Live within the Northeast region of the U.S., which includes Indiana, Ohio, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia and Virginia.
- Excellent organization skills and ability to develop and execute to timelines
- Working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and CRM tools
- Understanding and experience with bid lettings, pricing, and negotiations
- Experience with managing distribution and direct selling
Preferred Qualifications:
- Business development and sales experience with a concentration in the infrastructure segment
