Position Description
Lindsay Corporation is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Finance Director to lead its efforts across the EMEA region, headquartered in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. In this role, you will lead financial strategy, planning, and operations across multiple countries. You will partner with regional leadership to drive performance, ensure compliance, and support strategic growth initiatives. You will collaborate closely with US-based Irrigation segment and Lindsay corporate finance teams on internal and external financial reporting, internal controls, and treasury management.
Position Details
The role reports directly to the Vice President, Irrigation Finance based in Omaha, and indirectly to the Vice President, Irrigation - EMEA & APAC based in Rotterdam. The successful candidate will manage a team of three direct reports located in France, Türkiye, and South Africa, along with three contract resources in Rotterdam. This position requires periodic travel (up to 15%-20%) and the preference is a candidate that will be based in Rotterdam.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the EMEA region.
- Provide financial support to regional commercial and operations leadership.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP, local GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations across jurisdictions.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Manage regional credit risk, cash flow, working capital, and investment planning.
- Drive process improvements and automation across finance functions.
- Lead and develop a high-performing regional finance team.
- Support M&A activity, including due diligence and integration.
- Provide general administrative oversight for the EMEA office in Rotterdam.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field; CPA, CMA or MBA preferred.
- 8-10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP required, IFRS experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of international trade laws and financial instruments.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in matrixed, multicultural environments.
