Role: Lindsay is hiring a Marketing Manager for the EMEA & APAC region.  The incumbent for this role is responsible for creating, planning, directing and coordinating marketing policies and programs, determining the demand for products and services and identifying future Lindsay customers.  This person will be influential in developing pricing strategies, overseeing product development and monitoring market trends, with the goal of maximizing the company’s profits and share of the market, while ensuring the company's customers remain satisfied.

 

This position is based in our Netherlands office and offers a pleasant in-office setting.  20-25% travel is required for this position within the entire EMEA/APAC region.

 

Responsibilities are, but not limited to: 

  • Developing and implementing short and long-term marketing strategies and advertising campaigns in order to create and increase brand awareness.
  • Responsible and accountable for designated and assignment-based marketing management, including managing the online marketing campaigns (i.e. social media), event planning, tradeshow execution, brand management, market research, promotions and advertising, at times with an external marketing agency.
  • Assisting the Director of Sales in the target delimitation for products.
  • Building strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, suppliers and vendors (i.e. you should feel comfortable speaking with a farmer in the field and polished enough to have a meeting with a political dignitary – all in the same day, if necessary)
  • Overseeing marketing material and work alongside global marketing team.
  • Preparing detailed monthly, quarterly and annual market reports in order to present current and forecasted data.

 

Requirements: 

  • Experience:  5-7 years of marketing and sales experience within the agricultural industry (or adjacent), as well as experience managing and mentoring others.
  • Education:  Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.  An MBA or a master's degree in marketing or a related field can be advantageous.
  • Customer Orientation: Deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors to create targeted and effective marketing campaigns.
  • Digital Marketing: Expertise in digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Budget Management: Experience in managing marketing budgets and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Results-Driven: Focus on achieving measurable outcomes and continuously improving marketing performance.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust strategies and tactics in response to changing market conditions and business needs.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with marketing tools and software, such as CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Networking: Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with industry professionals, media outlets, and influencers.
